The Partner Portal
Our parent and caregiver curriculum promotes the use of dialogic reading to support families in creating language-rich environments for children birth to age six.
Get To Know Us
Raising A Reader Massachusetts was founded in 2006, initially serving families in Chelsea and encouraging robust literacy habits to support children from birth to age six.
Since then, we gained a nonprofit status in 2009 and have expanded to communities across the state. The introductory PowerPoint linked gives a comprehensive overview of our mission, impact, and the key components for the success of our program. This is a great resource for anyone looking to understand our model to ensure that is implemented with fidelity.
The Partner Portal
Our goal is to promote the use of dialogic reading to support families in creating language-rich environments for children birth to age six. We do this through our parent and caregiver curriculum.

Reinforce Routines With A Visual Reminder
Display our logo in your circle area, near other Red Bag materials, or on a bulletin board to incorporate Raising a Reader MA into your space.
If sending Red Bags with children on the bus, affix a label (with Post-it note, masking tape, or dry erase marker) with the child’s name to the bag tag, so that drivers can easily identify the child to whom a Red Bag belongs.
